Not much of a preview since it's a huge story...but a few things;

- we see Peter (in Ock's body) has survived cardiac arrest and is clinging to life
- the solicits take on a whole new meaning now
- looks like Peter will break out (along with Morbius and maybe Connors and Smythe amongst others) and try to take out Ock (in Peter's body)
- the doctor spit on Pete/Ock after saving him, hilarious!

My thing is...how would anyone get Ock's body out of the prison without killing him? Yeah, Morbius is a doctor, but what's he going to do, carry him and give him constant CPR the entire time?

And everyone thinks Ock is a vegetable now, so what value would he be to anyone, especially considering just how specialized of care he needs?

And I just realized something; the area of the RAFT they're in isn't just for Spider-Man villains. It's the medical center, which would sorta explain why they have Morbius and the Lizard down there. Morbius technically has rabies/cancer, and the Lizard appears to be just a "lizard".

What other sick people are down there?

Ramos really must have been waiting to go all out on this story, but his art isn't as good as the 700 preview.

I'd really like to know how this sets the stage for 699.1, and what Otto will be doing, especially since the 700 preview does suggest that Peter will indeed by dead by then.

Wait, there's a 699,1 too? Are we expected to read nothing else than Spider-Man this december? Too bad, I really liked All-New X-Men, but Marvel does make it hard to be a Spidey fan. :-P

699.1 is a prologue to Morbius: The Living Vampire, so I think it's more geared towards those who want to prepare for that book rather to serve as a part of Dying Wish. However, there is an Avenging Spider-Man #15.1 that serves as an epilogue to Dying Wish. They are trying to push the whole 700 milestone, after all.

Peter's desperate and right now his only thought might be taking Ock down by any means necessary.

Morbius would be the lesser of two evils, since Ock can strike out at the people Peter loves.

marvel is only shipping 2 books on the day 700 comes out, thats Avenging Spider-man #15.1 and Amazing Spider-man #700. they are asking you to part with $11 or $12 for the week.

Dc will be putting out 3 books. Aquaman #15, Justice League #15 and Before Watchmen: Nite Owl #4.

Or Peter is using them under the guise of Otto. And since he can't fight "Peter" alone, "Otto" recruits guys to do it for him, and he has plenty of knowledge on "Peter" to finally give the Six an edge.

I just dont see him being able to work with Morbius... or, after Marla's death, Smythe. Lizard might work though.

if Ock has pete's memories, does Pete have access to Ock's memories? that's just.. icky.. especially considering Ock's involvement with Aunt May from way back..
