I love the idea of Cyclops turning the Weapon X facility into the New Xavier School. This is all pointing to the Uncanny Reboot being totally badass. I wonder if Cyclops' new X-Visor that he'll be getting has something to do with the craziness coming out of his eyes on the cover and in the preview. Are his blasts even more uncontrollable now?

Do they necessarily deserve to die? That depends on the cargo they're transporting. If it's bobble heads? No. Weapons to use on mutants? Only if they insist on defending the use of those weapons as righteous. Captured mutants? Make them no more than a stain on the pavement. But the main point is that just because you're only doing your job doesn't make it right.

Meanwhile the 'true' X Men join the Avengers. So instead of equal rights for all the X Men's goals are either
A: work for the Government and let their control freaks tell them what to do
B: be mutant supremists

Correct me if I'm wrong but the "old X-Men" are currently presiding in the present, no?
And besides people change. The world has spited mutants for so long. It's hard to imagine anyone not becoming hard after that much hatred, danger, and murder happen to you, those in your care, and everyone you love. Scott in particular has had an impossibly hard life. The plane crash, raised by Sinister, separated from Alex, Destroying an orphanage when his powers manifested, child soldier, Jean dying, and dying again (and again and again and again....), Madelyne, Sending his son into the future, and those are just some of them. Scott deserves to be hardened now.
