I'm no fan of Bendis' run on Avengers. It wasn't my cup of tea and took away a lot of what I liked about Avengers, but one can't argue with the success. That being said, I love that all of the Bendis fans use Wonder Man as their go to character to make fun of classic Avengers fans. It's practically the biggest straw man in the pissing contests of comic book fans.

umm had They killed Wanda there would be no need for hope and the Phoenix wouldn't have come back to earth, so no need to defeat it, you logic is faulty as hell.

Not true the Phoenix would've come back someday as long as it was alive. Now that its been destroyed Earth and the universe dont have to worry about the phoenix anymore. Although I wonder what that means for the spirits (like Jean) who reside in the white hot room that's represented by the Phoenix.
