I would actually be more interested in it without Morrison. Especially if it focused on Mr. Unknown or Knight and Squire.

That's what people said when he left Batman and Robin, and some certainly did leave but it's currently selling incredibly well:
October 63,097
September 69,146
August 63,993
July 65,043
June 66,894
As a point of comparison Morison's run usually sold around the high end of 80k, so it's not as if the book lost that many readers and I'd doubt Inc. would either.
It'll probably continue for a while in some new format after Morrison leaves, but if Burnham stays on the title than I'll keep reading if the writing is somewhat decent.
That may be but wasn't Tomasi handpicked to take up B&R pre-reboot by Morrison? I thought I remembered hearing something of the sort awhile back. If that was the case then I would argue that people stuck around simply because of that. (Personally, B&R under Morrison was simply a much better book than the current run is and Tomasi has totally taken a character I had grown to like (Damian) and made me absolutely loath him.) If the same thing happens with Inc. then people likely would stick around because Morrison chose his successor instead of leaving it to DC to make that decision. I simply don't see Morrison caring enough at this point to recommend anyone for it and therein lies the problem as well as the reason behind why I don't see it lasting more than a year if that.

I don't think the book is doing well because Morrison chose his successor. I mean, I obviously can't speak for everyone but personally, I could care less if the creative team was picked by Morrison or not. At the end of the day all I want is a good story and that's why I've stuck Batman and Robin and the only reason I'd stick with Inc.
If anything, between Tomasi and Sholly Fisch over Joshua Fialkov on Action Comics, I'm not a big fan of Morrison's creative picks
Oh, I know there are a lot of people who are more interested in "a good story" since that really all that I care about as well. In fact, I don't even care if a creative team is well thought of by the masses as long as I'm getting what I feel is a good story. The thing is there are people for whom the creative team is very important and some of whom think it trumps even the story itself. Those are the people who I think are going to either leave the book as soon as Morrison leaves or shortly thereafter. As I said before this is only speculation on my part but I don't recall hearing this much grumbling IRL about Morrison being gone as I have heard about him leaving Inc. While I know that the small percentage of people I've heard saying it is not an accurate representation of the entire comic reading population I do have to wonder how long Inc. is going to last when I hear it so often from multiple people. In any case I suppose time will tell.

I think I need to clarify something then. The grumblings I'm hearing now IRL and not on forums seems to be louder with this one then it was with B&R back then. A lot of the people at my LCS backthen liked Damian enough to stick with the book post-Morrison (in fact they were more worried about what the reboot might do) but in this case they seem to be more adamant about dropping Inc. when he leaves.

I really think it's too soon to be making declarations about what you will or won't do. We've got a pretty good idea that the book will continue, but we have no idea who the new creative team will be or what the book will be about. While I doubt that I'll continue, it depends entirely on the aforementioned factors and I can't tell you for sure until we know more.

I agree it's to early to say and I don't care either way as I'm not interested in the concept of Inc. in any case and never have been. I don't read it now nor do I plan to suddenly start reading it once Morrison leaves. All I'm saying is the grumblings I'm hearing seem to have a bit more weight then ones I've heard in the past. In my mind there is a great deal of difference between "I'm dropping such and such a title once Morrison leaves" and "I'm going to stop reading any Bat titles once Morrison leaves Inc." which is the way a lot of people have been phasing it or some variation thereof. I think the people saying it are going to drop the title this time around unlike other times before.
