What's more sexist? Gunn writing a blog about how he'd like to have sex with female superheroes, or artists drawing said characters in skimpy clothing and suggestive poses? Hmmmmmmm....
The bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame.
What did he write that was so homophobic? He made comments that he personally wouldn't enjoy doing certain things, but that doesn't make him homophobic, or is it all based on the name he called Gambit?
Well, he's getting tons of hits on his blog now. Someone with that type of sense of humour probably enjoys controversy like this.
I think overall people need to lighten up a bit. He obviously was just having fun and didn't mean anything horrible (they're fictional drawings for crying out loud). Most comedy these days is about shock value anyways. Who cares?
I've found that when the joke is directed your way and it bothers you that much, that the problem is less with the one making the comment and more with the one getting offended.

I think it's stupid but with Disneey owning the Marvel movies and all i can see why they did it
Yeah, that and the comments he made about 'turning' Batwoman, who is gay.
It's actually very insensitive imho, even if he didn't mean anything malicious by it. There's still a strong heterosexist bias in media as it is, so no, it's really not the same to joke about 'turning Batwoman hetero' as it is joking about 'turning Bruce Wayne gay', as someone suggested earlier this thread. That's a lopsided analogy.
