Sure are a lot of variants.

Also, I'm guessing the Light is the White Event.

Marvel should scale back the previews.

Lots of Marvel NOW issue 1s were literally spoiled on-line.
Adults struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life when the answer is obvious to the smallest child: because it's not real. - Grant Morrison

It's a bit too overly bombastic for me, but who knows.

Who is the artist for this cover? Mayhew?

This does look like a really good start. Hickman likes to build things up though, I bet some people get annoyed quickly with all the setup. The delivery is totally worth it though.

I don't mind varients at all, as I tend to ignore them.

If they wanted to kick things up a notch for collectors/speculators they should put the comics in
polybags so you wouldn't know which varient (if any) you were getting.

Again if you aren't a speculator, you probably won't care at all, but it adds interest for those that are.

I really cannot wait for this to come out. I am a huge fan of Hickman and all the artists in rotation on the book. Marvel pulled out all the stops on this. As long as Hickman is on for a nice long run, he can take his time and world build becauase I will be along for the ride.

And Opena's work is simply stunning to look at....I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl!!

    this all seems pretty epic.

i'm expecting a lot from this book, hopefully i'm not gonna end up disappointed. Marvel has disappointed me a lot lately.
