Default Any confirmations whether Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time are canon?

Obviously, these two games really meant to take time during the mainstream-timelines, with the Real 616, Ultimate, Noir and 2099-Spider-Man participating.
But is this just a phrase or are they really canon to all the timelines?
    Can't find any confirmations.
You are missing the prime Avengers fan rule, Torture and Genocide are OK if Cap approves, Feeding the Starving is evil if Cap doesn't aprove.

You won't find them. Though it would be cool to have canon games, but not those two.
There's a bit of Spider-Man in all of us.

They might have their own number designations for their universes somewhere, but the chances are they won't be referenced in 616 comics.

Nope, as of right now.... no comic exists that is canon that confirms that they are also.

For Ultimate Spider-Man I say no its not canon. As for Amazing Spider-Man it could be canon but it has never been mentioned before.

Couldn't be canon. Not only did we have both Madame Web and Kraven both alive at once despite Madame Web dying in Grim Hunt, but Peter didn't find out about the existence of the UU until Spider-Men.
Holding out for a Peter/Miles team up.

If you wanted to be cute, you could argue that the very nature of the alternate time-lines created a ripple through time and space, and that the events of both games erased themselves from existence after their conclusions. But if that's the case, what point is there to them being cannon to begin with?

Shattered Dimensions felt like a bit of a summer popcorn flick, mostly because that was around the time when I actually got the game. They're not bad, but they're no Arkham City.

I imagine this will be like Marvel vs. Capcom 3, where the games have their own numerical designations, but they are meant to be based on existing universes. I'll just say that Shattered Dimensions encompasses four sequentially numbered universes, while Edge of Time is its own separate universe.

For example, there's no way the 2099 in both games can be the same, since Miguel is a completely different character in both games, being one of the more snappier Spider-Men in Shattered Dimensions while in Edge of Time, he's as serious as Spider-Man Noir, which is interesting, because they were both voiced by Christopher Daniel Barnes.

If Beenox makes their own series for them to work on when there isn't a movie to make a tie-in for, then that could be cool.

    God I hope not

And I still pray everyday for a Spider-Man game that has a story that could actually be a Spider-Man story, much like how Arkham Asylum and Arkham City could actually be Batman graphic novels.

Web of Shadows - Venom/symbiotes fanboys' wet dream.
Shattered Dimensions - Excuse to do multiple Spider-Man costumes in one game, no real plot.
Edge of Time - Are you kidding? That played like a Doctor Who story more than a Spidey one.
SPIDER-MAN :Hey there, my name's Spider-Man, and this is my trusty sidekick Wolverine.
    WOLVERINE: GRRRRR....

As a Venom fanboy, I can assure you that, no. No, it wasn't.

However, it's interesting that you cite the Arkham games as a good example of video game plotting, because both of them had several elements I could only forgive in a story because it was a video game. I can forgive Titan-Joker because a game needs a good end-boss, but if that were to happen in a comic, I'd find it over-the-top and incredibly silly.

(And then Paul Jenkins went ahead and gave us Titan-Two-Face. And it was over-the-top and incredibly silly.)

Not seeing how that's a bad thing, narratively speaking, especially given the character(s) it used. It's not outside the realm of possibility for a Spider-Man story (which can be was outlandish, fantasy/sci-fi-ish or down-to-earth, depending on the aim/writer).

I liked Web of Shadows... The first half anyway... When it's more free roam.

After playing Amazing Spider-Man, I hope they take the engine and create a game set in the 616 Universe. That would be "Amazing".

    (see what I did there...)

Anyway, so I don't drift off topic, yeah, Edge and Shattered are definitely not canon.
