I really like the detailed look. But I do think that Misty's body needs to work more proportionately. That kick looks really weird.

It's a mule kick/back kick...pretty hard to draw that without it looking weird, unfortunately. =(

These scans really offend me; the metal plates around Val's boobs; her "orgasm" face as she stands in the rain; and Misty's lips in a pout. It's very, very sexist. And OF COURSE the men are in full body armour that shows off nothing. See. So sexist. These poor women; being degraded like this. I might just boycott the book. Let me know when the ladies are scrubbed clean of all make-up and all in burqas so we can only see their eyes (hopefully behind a veil); and I might pick it up!

Try doing a back kick yourself. It actually looks like that. Your hips swing around so that it's ALMOST a side kick, but caught in a freeze motion, it doesn't look quite right. =P

And you cannot draw it from the front, because apart from a slight hint of depth, it looks exactly like a side kick from the front, which makes no sense when the guy was clearly behind her in the panel above.

I do wish Val would wear some of her fuller armour sets from Fearless though, at least for the most serious fights where they actually are prepped to go in.

Well, it would make sense for her to wear something lighter, as Asgardians do have tougher skin, but if they do all get full body armor, and I mean the whole team, that would ROCK!
