Oh, my God. Are you dense or what? Wikipedia is a site that can be edited by basically everybody. What it says there is not true by default. Somebody put it there and it's not true, however you and others apparently take it as gospel, and that's what's wrong here. More to the point, some tool gets here after UCX #18 and whines about writer making Warpath separate character. And then some other tool says that Marvel editors can't do their work and should go check the brilliant Marvel Wikia made by dedicated fans, that has crap like Warpath=Shaman and probably some other unchecked and obviously not true info. You get that? Or you busy having a good laugh?
Warpath is not James Proudstar, because nowhere in the comics (and in handbooks) says so. Asking me to prove that, well, you're the one making me laugh.
EDIT: If I wrote on Wikipedia that Ultimate Snowbird is Dani Moonstar, how would prove that she's not? And if you couldn't, would that mean that Snowbird is Dani Moonstar?

You don't need to be so highstrung about it. All that happened was a few people said they would double check to make sure; no one outright said you were wrong. There's no need to insult people over it.
I like Ultimate Comics. - Read them with us!
I also buy: Captain America, Avengers, FF, New Avengers, X-Factor, among others
I think you don't understand what I was laughing about. I was laughing at how serious you were taking this. Telling us to "do better" as if we owe you something. I know wiki can be edited, but it is obvious more than one person thinks Proudstar is Shaman. If we're wrong good for you but your attitude is comical. You response was insulting which again made me laugh, I think you need to lighten up a bit friend.
1) Find a bad guy
2) Be Wolverine
Ultimate Wolverine is coming back, sort of!
Yeah, yeah, fine, sorry. I'm pretty sure you're a better man than I and had I wrote that your post made me laugh, you'd just let it go.

Come on, dude, you can do better than that.
I hope the dark skinned chick flying will be revealed as M
In the back of Absolute Power TPB there's Aron Coleite's script for Ultimate X-Men #94, first appearance of Alpha Flight. When he describes the page they first show on, he mentions that some of them will have different identities than 616. Ironically, the only one stated explicitly in the script is the one that actually wasn't revealed in later issues: Shaman was supposed to be John Proudstar, Thunderbird. I don't know how and why it ended up on various Wikias that Shaman is James, but that's not true, because 1) that wasn't Coleite's intention and 2) it never made it to the page anyway. So, yeah, Wikipedias're wrong. Also wrong are people who think Brian Wood screwed up introducing Warpath in his run (and every once in a while they will be one because WIKIPEDIA SAYS SO, SO THERE). Also very wrong was that guy who said that editors can't do their job and should be checking Marvel Wikia for info. Yeah, get your info straight first, mate. And on the subject of wrong, maybe my attitude is just like that, or maybe some of you need to take a step back, see for example that thread about roasting the future issues of Ultimates like you already read them after only seeing a cover, and realize how that makes you look from the outside. Not good at all.
