It's been stated in the press for the new Justice League of America title that the book will also introduce the DCnU version of The Secret Society of Supervillains. I couldn't be more excitedI've always loved the concept of the SSOSV or Society. Based on JL #14 and the conclusion of the issue, I'm pretty sure we're seeing the beginning of the line-upCheetah and Black Manta.
Which other villains would you add to the SSOSV roster to potentially take on the JL and Justice League of America? Who do you think can work reasonably enough together to not make the team implode?
My picks:
Cheetah - Strength, speed, cunning, brilliant in understanding mystical, mythological and magical objects. Connection to the Black Room.
Prometheus - Tactician and strategist
Black Manta - Mercenary combatant
Meryln - Master assassin
Giganta - Strength and brilliant biomedical surgeon and researcher
Dr. Cyber - Master technologist/futurist
Shadow Thief - Master thief and escapist, intangibility and shape-changer
Dr. Light - Energy wielder
Black Adam - Strength, speed and connection and understanding of magic
Cheshire - Mercenary combatant and toxins and poisons
Poison Ivy - Connection to nature, scientific knowledge and control of plant life, immunity to toxins and poisons. Connection to the Green.
Killer Frost - Energy manipulator
Toy Man - Teenaged master gadgeteer
Terra - Teenaged geokinesisian
Count Vertigo - Distortionist and vertigokinesisian
I'd set up the team in a different way, where there's a core group (maybe 5-6 of the above) and contracts are hired out to other villains for specific jobs.
