They do have a Black Beetle who was a villain counterpart to the newer Blue Beetle. However, names cannot be copyrighted, only trademarked and I think the two characters debuted about the same time. There are quite a few characters with duplicate names at the various companies: Nighthawk, Black Cat, Guardian, Sandman, Sentinel (Alan Scott and mutant hunting robots) to name a few. So, unless this interfered with DC's plans on releasing a Black Beetle title themselves, don't see a problem.
it's also The Black Beetle, but anyway...
I'm super pumped for this. can't come out soon enough.
This looks good . . . I may have to invest in both this and Masks.
(Too bad DC decided to flush it's history down the toilet with the Nu 52.)
Congress shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
I am really looking forward to this. Francesco Francavilla drawing his own material... I'm sold.
I wanted to pick up those issues of DHP for the BB story, but I didn't fell like spending that much for 1 story. Glad its all being collected in 1 issue. If its good, I'll pick up the mini as well.
Franceso is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists. Still love to see him on a Black Widow solo book.
