    Default REVIEW: Chew, #30

"Chew" hits its halfway point, with John Layman and Rob Guillory teaming up once again to put the readers through a funny sort of hell, as Toni Chu prepares for her wedding day.

HAHA! My cat made it to the pictures page! Although they mixed the names up. His name is Rory but he's the cat in the lower left-hand corner and they show his name as Boo Kitty.

As for the issue itself - WOW. I did NOT see that coming. Totally thought spoilers:
Paneer was going to die - I had NO thought at all that Toni would be foreseeing her own death when she bit him. That was a VERY impactful death.
    end of spoilers

I also thought it was one of the heaviest and darkest issues of the entire run so far. It seemed to contain far less humor and it also seemed that there were a lot fewer background jokes compared to what Rob normally puts in there. It totally fits given the events of the book.

Fantastic issue only made better for me by the inclusion of my cat!
