Last time that happened in a big way was when Legion traveled back to the 616 past and killed Xavier by mistake. He had been powering up to kill our Xavier and not an alternate one, and the resultant space-time quake cracked the Mk'Kraan cristal and nearly caused the universe to be obliterated. So I guess a crack in the Mk'Kraan would be a job for the GotG.

This makes a lot of sense and would actually kind of cool if Bendis tied his GoTG run into this.

There is a dynamism to Immonen's art that just SELLS this book and the emotions of it all. Despite there being a lot of dialogue in this issue, man is it not your typical "talking head" story. Beast's reaction to the question of Xavier's ability to help was phenomenal; shout out to the colorist as well.

I liked this a lot. I'm digging Teen Bobby's voice, as others have said, and his Kitty is great; no surprises there with his phenomenal Ultimate work. I like Teen Jean's innocence and Teen Cyke's predicament too. This is just really good. Can't wait for issue 3. Anyone else hope Angel finds out the truth about Archangel?

Such a good issue! Love the art! (Kitty in a pony tail is forever my favorite.) I can't wait to see more Iceman/Iceman interaction, that'll be great. I almost thought we weren't going to get a soppy Wolverine moment but the last panel got it.

I'm looking forward to getting this today, but I think it typical and amusing that the lead TP at the school doesn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary with multiple copies of people and her "mother" wandering the halls. Le sigh . . . .

But seriously, BEAST, YOU FOOL! You used a time travel device that can alter the current timeline?! What are you thinking? All one has to do is kill the O5 and the X-men will be erased (or seriously altered). Who knows what this would do to the timeline, we know killing Xavier almost caused reality to implode with the time wake it created.

This was amazing. I haven't had this much fun reading an X-Men comic in ages. Beast acting like a stupid hypocritical prick, Jean knocking Logan on his face and calling him disgusting, Logan acting like a brainless moron and going feral at Teen Scott without even asking questions + his lovesick face in the last panel. Plus it's a relief to see Kitty be Kitty again after Aaron's terrible take on the character.

The art was perfection.
