Who happened to 90's X-Men Cartoon?

I really liked the first X-Men cartoon on Fox, because I grew up with it. I liked the Pryde of the X-Men pilot for what it was. I actually really loved X-Men: Evolution. I generally find young heroes to be more ingratiating than adult heroes, though. And I even liked the high school because I hate it when the X-Men spend all their free time brooding in the mansion. I actually didn't care for Wolverine and the X-Men much. The thing is that it really felt like the same old thing to me. Sure, there was the "getting the band back together" thing but the band was basically the same characters they always use plus Emma (who I don't like) and Forge (who's kind of boring). I really just kind of wish they had gone off the rails with it and made it into something really different for an X-Men cartoon.

Yeah, Wolverine and the X-Men just didn't do it for me. Totally fine with it being cancelled.

One of the reasons why I like WATXM so much, is because the art and storytelling reminds me of the 90's cartoon(except that Wolvies in charge now), so glad that Storm's now a teacher. Everytime I read this book, I feel like a teenager again.
Nerdy thing I do sometimes, is play the 90's theme song on my computer while reading...lol
