X-Men & Teen Titans

When I read the first crossover between the X-men & Teen Titans I thought it was a great read and now I wonder if there will ever be a better crossover between the two teams?

The Teen Titans is currently unreadable, so no. It only worked because they were the great comic book soap operas of the 80s.

It was great indeed. It made me start reeding Teen Titans for a while and it had some great characters. But then the writers really %&^$&-up the series and I quit reading it. I heard it never came back to the level it used to be.

Same happened with the WildC.A.T.s/X-Men crossovers between Marvel and Image. They made me buy WildC.A.T.s for a short while, but those stiories were to hard to follow for new readers.

Youngblood/X-Force was compareble to that too, although I did not even try to follow the Youngblood series after Teen Titans and WildC.A.T.s. I decided to stay with the Marvel Universe only

Though I must admit all those teams had very cool characters.

Loved it when Starfire made out with Piotr to get his Russian skills, and Kitty was super jealous, though Piotr was jealous of her in the first place for talking with Beast Boy, hence cursing in Russian!

Also, let us not forget this was the first time Cyclops took on the mantle of the Phoenix, however briefly!

Sorry, it only worked because it was the Claremont/Wolfman era. They were in-sync.

But at least we still have its gloriousness. I was actually thinking of making a thread about this issue yesterday morning. Phoenix Cyclops looked so much better in this than his Joe Arpaio brand prison thong.
