"Um, blah, blah, blah. And, Girl Power. Feminism, d'you know what I mean?"
X is more naturally interesting than Avengers so the Avenger heavy skew and the Avenger villain were probably a conscious decision to bring balance to the title. It will work its way into an X book as time goes on if it isn't forced not to. Its only issue two and Rogue is already the breakout. Shiro has such a personality he'll be hard to hold down when he shows especially given the obvious angle of his appearance likely stemming from him hunting Anna down for the thing with his legs and powers. He may not be an X-Man per se but he has the character of one.
bad art. same face syndrome. and not a cute face btw.
i don't get the point of hating mutants and wanting to erradicate them because "they r different" and being around people who look exactly like mutants. and ugly mutants indeed!
Wolverine speech was so corny! and lame, i totally skipped it, it looked like taken from a poem book.
the only part i loved was Rogue and how she uses her power. the part about gambit and bondage was hilarious.. flashbacks please?
for the rest, it's entirely average, i'm enjoying All-New X-Men way more!
This book is wacky but fun.
Action Comics, Animal Man, Batman Inc, Constantine, Earth 2, Flash, Green Arrow, Justice League, Justice League Dark,JLA, Saga, Stormwatch, Swamp Thing, Supergirl, Superman & Uncanny Avengers
As annoyed as I am by Cap and Wolverine these days, I am reading this book mainly because I like some of the more b-list characters like Havok, Wonder Man, and Sunfire (who is really more like c list at best). I always liked those characters and I'm liking the mix of camp and sinister on the new Red Skull.
But still, it's got plenty of problems. I'm just kinda stuck with it due to the characters involved.
