Xmen Avengers Reading Order

But just wanted to start a thread and ask what is the reading order for the X-men V Avengers story.

I know it starts around:

House of M > Avengers Dissembled > Civil War > Civil War Initiative > Dark Reign > Siege

Just have seen so many different reading orders and different books, I bought the latest AvX even though wasn't amazing, I picked up Magneto not a hero and really liked it and but didn't know the back story behind that too. So how would I start off the story and build a little graphic novel collection.

That sounds about right, thou if i were you, i would Skip AvX, the only thing of significance that happened is that there are new Mutants and Cap forced a situation were Scott Killed Xavier, thats about it.

On the X-side you should get Messiah Complex, Second Coming, and X-Sanction.

Do you want an issue by issue breakdown? Or just a general flow of events?

If you're wanting an outline of events, then you're good there. Swap HoM and Dissassembled and add Secret Invasion after Civil War.

As to placing individual series issues, that's a huge task that I'm sure you can find with a little searching. There's usually a thread dedicated to the events on here somewhere that gives you the proper reading order (seach "Title-of-Event reading order").
