There's no reason I should be interested in this... but I am, slightly. Damn it.
The high concept is interesting enough, I think, but I have no faith in the writer. I'll give it an issue, though.

I'm a little interested. Not a fan of his origin being tied back to Darkseid's invasion.
Will give it a look, to see how it sits with me.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
all these talks about vibrational-this and dimensional-that makes me think of the multiverse...
Well, if Johns is giving the plot and Kreisberg is working from that this has the potential to be great. I had no problem with his dialog or structure on GA/BC.
I am getting a good vibe from this title...
The amping up of the vibrational powers is interesting and I certainly like the fact he can't be photoed or videod because he is always moving and thus is a blur. Its something different and unique I think. Also, if he can detect people not native to this universe... it can also mean he might be able to track down Helena and Kara since they are from Earth-2 and their vibrational 'signature' could be detectable.
EDIT: Also, I think I really agree with Johns that its an amazing experience to reinvent lesser known characters who have littled known of them. Risky but rewarding indeed. Not sure if I agree that everyone can right Batman or Superman but still an interesting comment.
EDIT 2: Is it me or something wrong with part of the interview:
Working with Geoff is like being a basketball fan and getting to play with Michael Jordan. Not to mention, he turns out to be the nicest guy that you've ever met. He's so smart and such an amazing writer. He's forgotten more about writing comics than I will ever know.
Forgotten more about writing comics? Is he complementing Johns or insulting him?![]()

I am Apocalypse! Look upon the future and tremble!
I am as far beyond Mutants as they are beyond you. I am eternal.
Evil? I am not malevolent, I simply am!
Yeah it sounds good, but it's Kriesberg. So yeah give it one shot.
I'm a reasonable enough guy. I'll give this an issue to impress. I'll go with the right amount of expectations, which is none.

One really has to wonder what the impetus is for DC to give this book to a writer whose turn at the wheel of Green Arrow was almost universally panned critically, rather than one of their up and comers like Kindt. I mean, really, this set up, with weird other dimensional creatures coming through to detroit is almost perfect for Kindt.

If it's anything I suspect it's that they wanted someone who was going to tow Geoff Johns' line; someone who would be easy to co-write with, who would do the heavy lifting but work off the concept Geoff creates and be okay with re-writes and suggestions. TV writers are used to working that way, where as someone like Kindt or Fialkov presumably rankle at such interference, preferring a bit more of their authorial voice to be embedded.
I guess what I'm saying is this kind of writing feels like it's striving to be generic, at least in the method. Who knows, maybe it will turn out brilliantly.

Yeah, one really has to wonder why anybody gets a second chance. They're doomed to failure forever.
I wonder if anybody has ever gotten a second chance after an initial poor outing and done well?
I'm looking forward to this comic because it's not Batman or Superman, and it sounds like a really cool concept. I'll definitely give it a shot.
I seriously miss Captain Mar-Vell.
