Haha. I loved this statement, and had not thought of it until you brought it up because the Nolan Bat-verse seems so removed from the rest of the DC cast.

I just think that Justice League is coming off an extremely popular Batman film series that almost everyone saw and is generally very well received. Audiances would probably be more put off by not continuing that and restarting with someone completely new who has to restart the whole thing. Of all the names I've heard JGL is the best actor of the bunch and he played a character who was in line to be Batman so it's not a stretch.

That actually makes sense in the Nolanverse. Superman not doing a damn thing. "Im not a hero, I'm a dark defender of Metropolis".

Whether this happens or not, it would be nice to finally get an actor cast as Batman that is actually built like Batman. Somewhere, there has to be an actor who is 6'2 - 6'4, 220lbs of muscle who has the acting chops to pull off Bruce/Batman. I'd like to finally have a Batman that has a physical presence in the movie; someone who doesn't need a padded suit to look ripped.

JGL is a great actor, but unless they're trying to cast Tim Drake, keep him away from any future Batman/JLA movies.

Richard Grayson who replaced Bruce Wayne as Batman is 6' and 175 lbs. Also, actors can and do bulk up for roles.

That could work. But you'd also have fans complaining that all of Bruce Wayne's Batman career took place before Superman, who's considered "the original superhero".

Batman predates Superman in the New 52 anyways. Hardly a big deal.

I'm sure I read somewhere Nolan will end his story by the 3rd movie, and this Batman is the sole costumed hero in this universe
I hope it stays that way, JLA Batman needs to be more fantastical than Nolan's Batman
