Contrary to his previous statements that "Man of Steel" would be separate from Warner Bros.' other DC Comics-based films, director Zack Snyder now suggests his Superman reboot could have ties to the long-planned Justice League movie.

It would be silly of the studio to NOT tie into what Snyder does, if it does well. If not, then they can choose to ignore it. But that would not bode well for Justice League if the major player in the league (Superman) tanks at the box office.

To be honest, even critically it was received well enough. It made enough money to balance out its budget, but it just didn't set the world on fire like Iron Man or TDK did.

Well yeah, the movie cost about 200 million to make and made about 400 million overall. It has a 76% of Rotten Tomatoes, which isn't exactly a terrible score.
