I really like the idea of them using Weapon X as their headquarters, and Immonen's art is just incredible. But Magik's dialogue was painful, and Magneto is already getting the Dr. Strange treatment apparently.

Magik's dialogue is not painful, babies. She's not pompous, like Storm/Danger.

does Illyana have any trace of an accent? do demons have demonic accents and if so, what do they sound like? Or is Illyana III an homage to the original so she comes complete with adorable pseudo-Russian intonations?

The original Illyana only lived in Russia for four years. She lost her accent in Limbo. If anything, she probably sounds Egyptian/Kenyan.
