    Default Jack Nicholson -Wolverine

Jack would have made an ideal Wolverine if he was only 25 years younger. He had the side burns, and he had the ideal temperament to be Logan. When Jack goes into his berserker rages, I see Logan. All he needed was the claws and Jack was Wolverine, ready made. He had the lure of the ladies man, much like Spider Woman Jessica Drew had Pherimones to make men obey her, I think Logan had the same thing to make women obey him.

On the other hand, he'd probably be a nightmare to work with on a film that intended as a more ensemble piece and demand massive scripts input.
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

I get the Logan vibe, but I also get a "homeless vampire" vibe.

Is he supposed to be hard to work with? Is he Wesley Snipes bad? Or does he surpass him?

A woman can move a lot faster with her skirt up than a man can with his pants down.

If "Wolverine" had been made in the early 70's or if this actor was alot younger...Robert Blake would have been perfect.

Except for the whole problem of Jack only being able to play himself the last 25 or so years.

He's the same height as the guy who's been playing Wolverine for the last decade. And the guns, well, that's just a stupid comment.

I think you've got Wolverine confused with the Purple Man or Mandrill (one of the greatest villain names/power combos in comic book history).

Maybe they can hire him to play old Logan in the new Days of Future Past x-men movie :p.

Jack evokes the spirit of Logan. In 1974 or so, he would've put in the work required to play Wolverine. But as Alex indicated, by the 1980s (and with all due respect to his Joker, which I loved in 1989) I think he would have been playing Jackerine.

Jack Nicholson is actually the likeness for Pat Mills' Slaine from 2000AD. Mills and his then wife Angie Kincaid created Slaine with both Nicholson's face and attitude in mind.

I always thought Mel Gibson could have done it too.
