The only proper reaction from Kaine imo would be to put an unmerciful beating on him once he realizes it's not Peter or that Peter is acting strangely

the book is good and as long as they keep Stegman the art will be great but the angst filled Spider-Man kinda gets old if read in succession

I hope Superior doesn't feature a similar "darker" Spider-Man

Someone mentioned on an old thread that future Spider-Men mini's should feature different team up's of Spider-Men. I think it'd be cool to see Kaine 616 and Ben Reilly from the six issue Cline Saga mini that came out a few years ago.

It was a great read for most of it, and I agree with most that the Carnage story didn't felt so good, but I really hope the titles gears up again, since it's been a great ride.

How big is Kaine suppose to be? I know bigger then Pete but when he's shown in the suit he looks about the same size, and then outside the suit he looks bigger and maybe even taller, especially I the preview pages of #12

Originally, Kaine was larger, taller, and stronger than Peter and Ben. Supposedly, however, being cured of his clone degeneration has made him more of a "perfect clone," and as such, he is essentially the size of Peter Parker. I think artists will likely portray him as a "bigger" guy, though, based solely on his personality.

-Pav, who has seen the preview for the next issue and hopes Kaine is having more of an existential breakdown due to his recent jaunt than a case of the willies, as the guy is no stranger to nastiness...

I've been reading it, I dig the suit, I like that hes everything Parker is not. And if I had to pick between Venom and SS, Id go with SS because Venom is Flash Thompson! remember how much of a jerk he was? Sure he went to war and lost his legs. But now my sympathy for him is back to normal, hes got super powers, he could just as well be the same HS bully he was before. Back to SS though cool suit, hope the series keeps on trucking.

I think despite him being healed and a "perfect clone", he's still taller and stronger than Peter, though. But I'm kinda confused about his powers! He's basically got Peter's powers after the Other, right? Organic webbing, stingers and night vision? But what about spider sense?

No Spidey sense, issue #1 clears that up, kinda weird though, has all these greater powers but no Spidey sense, I mean come on "can talk to spiders" is a crazy power

It was three lol, I think that's part of him being a clone, I don't recall Peter drinking and this show why
