Is there anyway that Storm and Wolverine hooking could have been a dream?
Because if it not, it comes off as cheap.

It will never be cool until everyone gets to say what they need to say in relation to how they feel about the direction T'Challa is being taken in by different writers and the impact said actions have upon his fanbase.
Hickman's playing the long building game with T'Challa while Jason aaron is doing the exact opposite with WATXM.
Both NA and WATXM have stories featuring T'Challa so speaking about Hickman's and Aaron's respective portrayals of T'Challa should be fair game in a thread that's supposed to be about appreciating T'Challa and Wakanda no?![]()

I'd be fine with Valkyrie asking Shuri and having Shuri turn her down; but she needs to be at-least asked... or the team could be based out of Wakanda! Every team needs a home base.
I have always wondered, has the need for T'Challa to father an heir been important to plots? (maybe later in Priest's run?). Surely, as King, it's one of the big duties (to keep the line going). But this is now more Shuri's responsibility, I suppose. Can her marriage be far off?
"I don't know how to please you Lord, but I think the fact I try to please you, pleases you."
Jason Aaron isn't a good writer. His run on BP was an aberration.
His WATXM isn't serious, just can't wait to read UXM.
Marvel doesn't want Storm married to BP, she needs to be a "free spirit" so she can get passed around.

OK OK
BP said he is going to kill Namor, how can he? Step 1: Get him away from water, then what?

LOL, here's the part I didn't add to that post.
I'm of the same school as MLK jr. No, not the one people say is MLK jr, but the real one, the one that wasn't anywhere close to "colorblind".
He brought up how those who just followed along, who were aloof to the damage they were making, the "moderates" that were more worried about order than the common good, were just as much of an obstacle to civil rights as the Klan.
On a literary scale, I think Aaron is just as responsible as the rest of the X-writers in undermining and emasculating T'Challa. Unlike Joe, I don't believe ignorance is an excuse. They may not have an outright agenda of it, but they are doing it and will continue to unless called out.
It is fair game as long as that is what is being talked about. It becomes problematic when that conversation expands to discussing and/or generalizing other boards, other threads, other fans and issues not regarding Black Panther in comics. It isnt right when that is done to those who like the Black Panther either. It is a problem that keeps repeating itself. There are better places to discuss some of these extraneous issues and help prevent this particular thread from getting overrun with personal debates that have little to do with what is going on in the actual comics or becoming some sort of battleground for forum issues.
My PM box is open to further discuss this. I don't wish to continue sidetracking this thread with more posts that aren't on point about BP and co.
Well to be fair, both Storm's side of the family and T'Challa's brought it up.
You would think Marvel would relish the opportunity to bring Azari from Next Avengers into mainstrem continuty.
Even little kid Azari could make Marvel bank(see Gohan, Daimen Wayne and Chris Kent-tho DC backed off from him with a quickness).
But Marvel has horribly mismanaged this whole thing.
actually, his "See Wakanda and Die" run on BP back during Hudlin was heavily lauded by many, even people on here. It was really good. "Scalped" is great and his current writing on Thor is amazing.
Which is why the lower level of writing on WATXM is a surprise to me. It's not even about how T'Challa was thrown into it ( which I still don't see the point) it's just soap opera is romance novel Schtick. Claremont did have sex in his stories back then, but it was done far better.
Alright this thread has gone far enough, do not I REPEAT DO NOT start any Black Panther general discussion threads until further notice.
