Pretty much this. Come in with an open and honest discussion and everything is pretty much cool.

Thanks again for the welcome. And "yes" tin foil hat. Because to be fair, you did imply (out of the blue, and in a very heavy handed fashion) that I'm secretly "pretending to be something else" when I asked a simple question. One that seemed to hit a nerve. Now that I think about it, it seems like you've been a victim of newly created troll accounts in the past, and now "everyone who questions you is one of them!" That's a shame.

I haven't actually, and I think you were overreacting--as I think you are now.

Anyway, this isn't the place. Feel free to private message me if it means that much.

I'm more interested in discussing Hickman's plans for the character in what I fully expect to be my favorite Marvel book. It's gonna be big.

Did everyone see the new Marvel Previews magazine released today? This time, instead of solicits, it showed little 2-4 page previews of upcoming series.

I'll try to get up scans later, but it features young Wakandans in a contest to win a prize determined by the Elders. At the end, T'Challa announces their prize.

T'Challa: This is M23-671A. An M-Class planet circling an orange dwarf 241 light years away.

The West has abandoned space, and the East crawls when it could run... As a result Wakanda now possesses the preeminent space program on the planet...

But we must do more, go farther... to somewhere no human has ever been.

Your prize, Makers... are the stars themselves.

    EDIT:
T'Challa: Kimo, T'Dori... very, very well done.

N'Kono, your father's grandfather was T'Konda -- The Black Panther of his time.

He was called "The Wall," and now his spirit, like all other previous Panthers, lives within me.

I feel his pride when I look at you.
Due to N'Kono's age, presumably T'Konda is Azzuri's father or grandfather.

This! Which is a HUGE shame, since I've seen too many posters saying they are boycotting ALL X-books (and therefore missing out on the awesome... Gambit and X-men: Legacy, anyone?)

    Total bollocks!!!

Negativity only comes into BP threads when Storm/X-trolls come through.

Excepting Moneyspider, most of us have lost interest in Storm as a character and don't want to waste anymore time talking about Logan's latest conquest/jumpoff.

First Im positive even when im negative.

Second...My X-boycott goes far beyond Storm. I like my X-men trying to live with humans, while facing prejudice..not running away and trying apartheid--only to side with continent drowners and former terrorists/mass murderers.

And My Acceptance of new Avengers will solely hinge on how the whole NAMOR/ Destroy Wakanda thing plays out.

Think About it, have I ever forgiven Emma frost for switching bodies with Storm and trying to kill jean, kitty and the X-men.

So why int he world would I forgive namor for leading a team of Atlanteans to eat harmless civilians. Hickman can do a lot in rectifying that.

new Avengers is my last hope for deciding if Ill ever see marvel as viable..again.

    No pressure. LOL

That's not true. I'm also a fan of Storm, though my criticisms of how the character has been handled historically makes people think otherwise.

And seriously, can we be the bigger people? Let them revel in the name calling, and the "stay pressed" stuff. I may be critical of how Storm is characterized by fans and writers, but this "Logan's jumpoff"/"O'Snooki" nonsense is only going to incite more negativity.

I'd rather be parted the people who ended it.

I think it could be in my top 3 after Uncanny Xforce, and Legacy. The reason why I am going to pick up this book is because I need to see what T'challa does to Namor. That alone makes that comic worth it, well that a fully powered Dr. Strange.

Thank you, Kid K, and agreed 100%. I posted my swan song on the subject several pages back, but it's done. Really. Folks need to be mature about it now. Money was right; if you can't handle seeing her name pop up in the conversation, DON'T JOIN IN or IGNORE IT. Vice versa. Nobody dictates the rules of this thread like that, sorry.

I'm ready for both characters to move on to bigger and better things, and the name calling at this point is more an indication of butthurt that her being a turncoat.

Oh, and Booshman & jabu... welcome to the thread.

Nit to get too far off but Legacy is really that good? I can't get interested in it at all.

Yknow what if Galactus is one of the new members of the Illuminati? Or by proxy SS?

That is interesting. Strange, Namor and Reed have history being on Surfer's side. We know TChalla and SS have run into one another. I would be down with Surfer as a guest to this play.
