    Mercurio, The 4-D Man!

The character captured my imagination as a kid. Seems simple enough, progect cold and heat. He needs to be on the good side and become a hero.

Spot. He has a pretty unique power and look but is pretty underutilized. I think he is looked at as kind of a joke but he could be more.

Only if a "goodie" has a break down and turns to the dark side though.

I gotta catch up on Waid's Daredevil but didn't he get a makeover there under a new name there ( but still as a villain)?

No, he's still the Spot. He's much more dangerous, though (as he should be.) He's like the Invisible Woman: when you think about it, he's really very powerful.
Power - Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. But it rocks absolutely, too.

My problem with Razorfist is I can't get over his lack of hands. How does he wipe his butt? Open doors? etc. etc. I'd be thinking that the entire time.

Taskmaster. He has the added benefit of starting out as a good guy doing a good thing, and because of his condition doesn't even know he's a good guy. It's be great if he got all his memories back and went back to geing a good guy. Preferably he'd take a new name. I wouldn't be upset with him being Ronin and a new villain taking up the Taskmaster name. Or him even bein the new Swordsman. Watch Shang Chi and Temugin and the Immortal Weapons a few other fights and you got a bonafide combat monster. Even if he is one already.

Okay, so the pun about the word "straight" in the thread title has been made. We all see this, right? No need to make it again?

I would go with thae Crusader. A hero powered by faith is too interesting not to read about

Too much of that all over the place in the Marvel Universe already, imo.

And the very act of being a "crusader" isn't very heroic. In order to go straight, he'd have to be toned down to the point of irrelevance.
