Before its conclusion I would have said Uncanny X-Men Vol. 2. Now I would have to go with X-Treme X-Men as it's the only X-title that I'm currently reading. Aside from that, I'm patiently waiting for Cable and X-Force and Uncanny X-Men Vol. 3. I would have counted All-New X-Men but I will be dropping that title once Uncanny X-Men starts up again.

Agreed. Uncanny Xforce and the new but unrevealed X-men, oh and Legacy and maybe Cable and Xforce.

    Currently...
    Wolverine & the X-Men
Ultimate X-Men (Wood is handling his business in that book)
    All New X-Men
X-Men (Seth is OK so far but he is no Wood...would have been #1)
X-Men Legacy (this one is borderline to be dropped)

    About to be dropped...
    Gambit
    X-treme X-Men

Come January/February it will likely be...
X-Men (If Storm remains leading the in the book)
    New Uncanny X-Force
    Wolverine & The X-Men
    Ultimate X-Men
    All New X-Men
    X-Men Legacy

    Maybes...
    Cable & X-Force
    Uncanny X-Men

I don't think we get to decide these things, and I don't care anyway. The Bendis books are pretty clearly going to be the most important, but it's too early to say which books will actually be the best.

It makes me sad how many people read the books that meant to be "important." This time around, meaning the two Bendis books.

I wish there were some way to convince more people to try out the fringe books b/c the stories are so good.

    All things Uncanny:

    Uncanny X-Force (vol.1 and soon Vol.2)
Uncanny Avengers (I consider this as an X-Men & Avengers team up book)
    and soon.. Uncanny X-Men.

    Plus All New X-Men.
and maybe Cable and the X-Force

If Uncanny Avengers counts, then I'll add that to my flagship list too.

All-New X-Men is the flagship since it has pretty much everyone in it. I hope for lots of Blue vs Gold action.

Before the relaunch I'd say X-Men Legacy, Uncanny X-Men and Wolverine and the X-men.
I'm not saying they were the best but I felt they were more central to the x-men story rather than going off and doing there own thing like a lot of other x-titles did.
Now I think All New X-Men replaces Legacy because to me Legion isn't a strong enough/significant enough X-character to head a flagship X-title.

Sure Marvel is pushing the Bendis X-books to be the flagships. I however am/will be reading:

    Cable & X-Force
    Uncanny Avengers
    Uncanny X-Force
    Wolverine & the X-Men
Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.

    ESSENTIAL:
Ultimate Comics X-Men: Its an action-packed, imaginative, fresh yet familiar take on the mutant mythos starring an iconic and also unlikely lead in Kitty Pryde. The book is centered around politics, relationships, belonging, fear, and accomplishment and under Brian Wood has yet to not be inspiring.

    INCONSISTENT:
Astonishing X-Men: I was prepared to love it then hated it and then I was used to ignoring it but somehow loved it. This book is unexpectedly one of my favorites at times but can also be an irrelevant drag.

X-Factor: It has great characters and a solid writer, but its a book that sometimes seems to flounder about. While PAD is usually great at characterizations, lately some of his solids have been duds (Monet, Madrox). I think being more involved with the big happenings of the Marvel Universe would be beneficial as sometimes the plots, while usually building to a bigger story, leave much to be desired.

Wolverine and the X-Men: Initially refreshing, then it became too silly, and now it seems to be finding its feet again. The tone of the book is its saving grace, but that is a line that occasionally makes the book and its characters repetitive, unrelatable and unlikable.

Glad to see New Mutants get the boot and both X-Men: Legacy and Uncanny X-Force get relaunched with new directions. I'm really excited about the new Uncanny X-Men. All New X-Men's first issue was disappointingly FUN and I'm ready to both hate and love Cable & X-Force despite the horrendous cast.
