Danger was made from Shi'Ar tech, too. I chalk it up to all Shi'ar technology being complete and utter science fiction rubbish and their whole Empire is a Galactic farce. Cassandra Nova subjugated the entire ruling party, the Empress with sex, and played the Imperial Guard like they were marionettes on strings. So, I am not surprised in the least that the faculty nor the kids are caught sneaking out if they are using Shi'ar technology for security. They better try something closer to home, like, say, ADT.

Where's Forge when you need him? If anyone could replace and or upgrade Shi'ar tech it's him. Sad, such a great character poorly wasted.
