Hi I want to get published a idea for a comic intiled Yak, it's a Crime Drama setting taking place in modern day Japan and Tokyo.


The main character is Japanese American who goes back to Japan for the death of an Uncle he didn't knew and discovers that his Father was Yakuza. The family be belond too was part of much older group, as I understand the setup of a Yakuza family which each is headed by an Oyabun which is equal too a Capo here in the USA I'm Canadian btw.

Kobun is the lowest level of the each family, I don't know what level they get there full body tattoos an Irezumi.



What I need help with other then finding a publisher interested, is the fact how are Japanese American treated in Japan?.
