In the ST annual Jason is the one who brings Alec the last stretch back to the swamp, for which he received some kind of reward, but we don't know what exactly. What we do know however is that he is on the Green's side, possibly empowered by it, considering Poison Ivy did get upset just mentioning what the Rot did to him in Rotworld (since her empathy for humans can be located on a very small area).
