Okay, that makes sense. I was kind worried there for a sec.
The original Swordsman's sword is probably in a box in Avengers Mansion's attic.
"If you can't say anything good about someone, sit right here by me." - Alice Roosevelt Longworth, on manners
"It's not whether you win or lose, it's whether I win or lose." - Peter David, on life
i think in an early issue of Young Avengers girl Hawkeye comes out dressed for combat holding swords and the others theorize those swords belong to the Swordsman.
Was it really that serious? I mean its just like Wrecker's enchanted crowbar, nothing came of it .I'm sure there were lots of wasted toys in the Avengers. I mean these were the same people that had Vision's remains in some box and they could only work on him when they had the time.
Cool. I bet thats a good fight.
I just don't think they see it as important in the grand scheme of things. Plus its trademarked, like Cap's Sheild, Thor's Hammer etc. Whoever uses it would almost have to be that legacy character instead of doing something with it that could be new and interesting. Like Luke cage with Wrecker's crowbar would've been cool or maybe Echo taking up Swordsman missing sword.
Haven't read many avengers titles, would New Avengers omnibus by Bendis be worth reading

I suppose if you like Bendis its alright...If looking for others I suggest....The Korvac saga by Shooter is awesome...any omnibus by Busiek is divine...The Ultimates by Millar is closest to Bendis-like...the first Knee/Skrull war saga may be dated but is worth reading....just off the top of my head these are the ones you might want to read.
I've read all the Ultimates stuff, I recently got back into 616, and picking up all 4 Avengers book from Now, but figured id catch up alil on previous titles, thought Mew Avengers would be perfect, but I've heard different things bout Bendiss Avengers, I've liked most of what he's written, Ultimate Spidey, and DD the most

The "Ultron Unlimited" by Busiek may be your cup of tea.
