I'd like to leave my top three for last (these are the three that immediately came to mind as soon as this year's challenge was announced), but for others on my list I'm waiting on delivery for some issues to fill in holes in my runs and it's hard to say if they'll arrive in time, so I may have to jockey around in my list. About a third of my list are what might be called schlock (good schlock but schlock) and I think I should spread those out rather than one right after the other.

I expect a thread after the 12 Days on what almost made people's lists.
Question - Does the original Hulk series (issues 1-6) count. The second Hulk series took the numbering from Tales to Astonish so I'm wondering if this counts? I imgaine it would end up on a lot of lists if it does.
Made a slight alteration to my list... it just gets tougher and tougher. I'm sure some people will go 'huh?' on a couple of my selections, which makes this so much fun.

I tend to split superhero comics fans into "People who like Krypto" and "People who don't like Krypto."
Basically, if you miss the wonder of a dog flying around in a little Superman cape, you're in the wrong hobby.

The Hulk never occurred to me either, but I might have to take a look at that myself. Not a huge fan of the character itself, but from what I can recall, those early stories were significantly different from what came later on.
Sorry if this was asked earlier...
What about a mini-series that was so popular that it turned into an ongoing series with the same title, but a new #1 with a v. 2 in the indicia?
Anyway, it is cool for you to acquire acrimony of crumbling time on blast this website.

This is the one Marvel that came closest to making my list.
I esp love the Ditko issues.

The original Hulk series had been a possibility on my list from day one, but the fact of the matter is that I didn't really enjoy the first volume outside of the Kirby art. Hulk doesn't become a character that I truly like until Wein, Thomas, and Englehart get their hands on him in the '70s.
