Well its now upon us ladies and gentleman. The hour is at hand. I am sure we all gave thanks to those who need it. Yes , when I talk of giving thanks ...I mean to Wal-Mart , K-Mart , Best Buy and all those other stores we as consumers will hit today. Yes folks...its BLACK FRIDAY. The real day of giving thanks with our dollar bills and what we earned this past paycheck. What better way to show our humanity than to spend it so well. So today when shopping remember these golden reasons to give thanks.
1.) The late night parking - Give thanks to the late night parking . Stores who are selling at all hours of the night having Black Friday sales are surely in the spirit. Sure you run the risk of getting mugged but remember....what better way to give thanks on today's special day than showing up at 2am for that new Ipod ?
2.) The fellow shoppers - Yes your fellow shoppers deserve to be given thanks as well. They are clearly on the hunt for bargins as you are. And they too are part of humanity as its greatest moments. Remember though you can only give so much thanks , before you have to reign blows down upon your fellow man for that last bargin basement WiiU . Because that is the natural order of Black Friday's.
3.) The stores should be thanked. Where else can you now be forced after a long day of work on the day before , then being told by your wife you must take her and spend all night ? Its part of the reason of giving thanks. Of course as you sleep in your vehicle at 2am as your wife and friends shop , you can have a dream your single again and not having to handle giving such thanks on Black Friday.
4.) The goods you receive. Give thanks for the goods. The ones your busy fighting and pushing the crowd for during Black Friday. Thank you Nintendo , thank you Sony , thank you video game makers. For without you , my Black Friday would not be complete....
Remember folks...today is a day to give Thanks. And be safe out there as your using your mace .

I'm thankful for Amazon.com, where I just ordered Fringe: The Complete Fourth Season on DVD for the low, low price of $9.99! I'm assuming it was part of a Black Friday deal, since the last time I looked at it, I'm pretty sure it was in the $40s, but either way, I'll soon have the entire run of Fringe on DVD... except for the Fifth Season, obviously.

I'm thankful that I work unconventional hours so that I can go Christmas shopping when 90% of other people are at work (that includes not shopping on Black Friday).

i'm thankful that most stores that take part on this day of wonder and magic don't set up their 'crazy deal' goods in such a way in order to cause maximum chaos.
i'm sure the store owners and their legal team are thankful that all the attention will go to those crazy people and consumerism and not on how they continually make it worse with their totally not-on-purpose haphazard black friday shelving. and how it will lead to an even bigger crowd and $$ next time
