Bronze Age
Crisis Age
NuDC Age
I really liked Bronze Age Morgan Edge actually, I liked that he appeared to be a rough and tough business who only cares for himself but actually has some decency in him.
One of the more memorable moments of the character to me was in Action Comics#478, Superman gets captured by the Lunarians, a race who view themselves as the true inhabitants of Earth. Earth is then slowly being destroyed by natural disasters, with Lois helping out in shelters, Jimmy and Perry trying survive and the rest of Earth heroes being brainwashed by rays fired by the Lunarians making them forget they're superheroes, Edge is the only one left in the studio reporting the situation to the any viewer who is actually watching. As he signs off and looks at the flooded city from the rooftop, he started to cry not out of fear mind you, but because the world is suffering and he's completely powerless to do anything. That was a powerful scene in my opinion.
No matter how many reboots, new origins, reinterpretations or suit redesigns. In the end, he will always be SUPERMAN
I prefer the original Edge. Neither villain Edge or black media pundit Edge do it for me.
Original Edge all the way.
Over and over, the crow cries uncover the cornfield.
