"It is wrong to assume that art needs the spectator in order to be. The film runs on without any eyes. The spectator cannot exist without it. It ensures his existence." -- James Douglas Morrison
It's too bad that this thread isn't about the best comic book video game, otherwise the Walking Dead might be considered.

I love the first X-Men game for the Genesis. I played that game to death. It was so awesome, I even didn't mind that Gambit was in it.
In the arcades, I also loved the X-Men arcade game based on the "Pryde of the X-Men" X-Men universe. I'd play as Nightcrawler just for the pleasure of doing the trampoline jump on enemies that I had knocked down. So much fun. This and "Captain America and the Avengers" ate so many of my quarters back in the day. I can still remember the boss' catchphrases, like Blob's "Nothin' moves da Blob!" and Mandarin's "FEEEEEEL MAH POWAAAAAAAAH!"
And of course Magneto's classic "WELCOME TO DIE!"![]()
It really is too bad that Spider-Man: Web of Shadows had so many glitches, because it had a lot of great innovations that would have made it the best Spider-Man game. I love the fact that you can call allies from the Marvel U. to aid you, the graphics can be very pretty, the different use of web-mechanics (definitely an improvement over Spider-Man 2), the wall-running/sliding...very cool stuff.
The best part of that game was the aerial combat. It was so much fun to have the fight on the air, where Spider-Man is supposed to fight!
Glitchy as hell, though.
