Of the console games, I have enjoyed X-Men Legends the most. I can replay that game over and over.

On computer, Champions Online is my superhero game of choice. It has the most powersets of any of the other superhero MMO's and freeform mode lets me mix and match to recreate just about any superhero in existence.

    Infamous 2.

It's a superhero game and it's pretty damn good.

Maximum Carnage on the 16 bits needs a mention. Awesome, and tough, game.

Comic book superhero games in order:
    1. Batman Arkham City (PC)
    2. Lego Batman 2 (PC)
    3. Amazing Spider-Man (PC, don't play this one if you don't have the free roam version)
    4. Spider-Man 3 (PC. I will forever defend it, cause it deserves it)
    5. Spider-Man 2 (PS2. This one and its official sequel are the best Spidey experience in games)
    6. THQ The Punisher (PC)
    7. PS1 Spidey games
    8. X-Men Origins Wolverine (Best Wolverine game ever)
    9. Ultimate Spider-Man (PS2/PC. Spidey games end here, the rest range from bad-ok)
    10. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 (PC)
    11. Lego Batman (PC)
    12. Superman (Arcade)
    13. Arkham Asylum (PS3/PC)
    14. Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

What he said. Followed closely by City of Heroes, which is gone now.

Unless I have that level of control of my characters, I won't touch a video game.

The Punisher arcade beat-'em-up destroys everything else, though Marvel Super Heroes is a great fighting game.

They were fun. The first one actually had a decent story.

I was just going to make this thread but found it already existed Except I wanted to ask people about the worst Superhero games as well. Does anyone remember Superman for Atari? You can walk Clark Kent into a phone booth then turn into Superman. Superman could fly through a couple of scenes but I could never figure out the point of the game.

As for best, I used to love the X-Men games for Genesis, especially the 2nd one where you could play as Magneto

This one was pretty decent. It's one I'd pull out if I ever wanted to kill a rainy afternoon.

I also gave the Genesis ones a whirl. The first one was ok. Mostly I liked breaking the game with Nightcrawler. Don't remember the second one much.
