Kate Bishop and Bucky are my favorite new characters of the past decade so Kate easily wins this one for me. I am hoping that between the new YA book and the Hawkeye book she can get on a roll.

Too difficult to choose a favorite.
I went with Kid Loki because JiM provided so many terrific issues.
    Kate and MAC close behind.
Noh Varr has been a favorite for a long time and the idea of reestablishing the character dynamics put in place by the original Marvel Boy series and the Avengers Illuminati one-shot is a very exciting prospect.
Noh could easily end up being my number one favorite character of the series.

I'm so happy so many of the Young Avengers have managed to get past "just" the kids books. Cassie/Vision in Mighty Avengers, Kate in Hawkeye; Wiccan's centre stage in Avengers: Children's Crusade. I don't think Heinberg could ever have invisioned how HUGE these team ws going to be.

Hands done without a doubt Kate is my favorite. I don't really understand when she's not someone's favorite haha.

    1. Kate
    2. Cassie
    3. Billy (he's gay, he's Jewish and he's a nerd, I've never related to a comic book character more)
    4. Teddy (I think Teddy has so much potential, I might like him a bit more than Billy... not sure, they kind of tie)
    5. Jonas
    6. America
    7. Eli
    8. Loki
    9. Prodigy

With how brilliantly their being handled/progressed in the current volume of Young Avengers, its so difficult to pick favorites. Each of them are given such tremendous characterization and beautifully rendered break out moments, both sublte and in-your-face.

From Kate's mischevous grin whilst aiming a massive harpoon gun, to Noh Varr's full-room-trouncing of the Putty Parents --- complete with "key", to MAC's "dismissing" of the laws of physics; they're all given moments to shine that every issue provides new and exciting reasons to love each and every one of them.

I couldn't possibly put them in order.
If by some miracle I was ever able to quantify my love for these guys, I can confidently say Nathaniel, Cassie, Eli and Jonas would be at the bottom. That is all.

Kate, then Miss America and Cassie, then Tommy and Teddy.
Bobbi Morse: has been on three Avengers teams, worked for SHIELD, evaded the Skrulls for years, received the super soldier serum and Infinity Formula. Still not even a limited series.

    1. KidLoki Laufeyson, God of Mischief - Gillen has created one of the best characters of the last decade
    2. Wiccan [William 'Billy' Kaplan] - gay. nerdy and Jewish, as someone else has point out, he ticks a lot of self-representation boxes
    3. Kate Bishop - love her attitude
    4. Hulkling [Theodore 'Teddy' Altman] - best BF ever?
    5. Speed [Thomas 'Tommy' Shepherd] - Bringing the fun
    6. Noh-vah - Also bringing fun, but also being redeemed after Bendis butchered him
    7. MAC - ATTITUDE is fun, but she needs more characterisation and back story
    8. Iron Lad/Kid Kang [Nathaniel 'Nate' Richards] - I like that he went out looking to be going evil
    9. KidVision - Filling in my Vision fix while Bendis left another character to rot
    10. Stature [Cassie Lang] - Did she ever stop whining?

    11. Prodigy [David Alleyne] - If he's a home wrecker, if he isnt and it's all a plan, he get bumped up to 8

    12. Patriot [Elijah Bradley] - HATED this character. Druggy fool who didnt deserve powers and still acted holier than thou despite his druggy history. So glad he's vanished from the book.

So I voted Noh Varr back then?

Now it would be a tie between MAC, Hawkeye and Prodigy.
Loki is the most entertaining, but I can't get over what happened in JIM.

Hulkling is my favorite. He's gay, he's butch, gorgeous, and a fairly stable guy.
I also love Wiccan. He's a good match for Hulking, more fem and a drama queen like his mom, but a cool well rounded character. I'm surprised Wiccan isn't winning this, I figured he would.
