How I would reboot DC Comics. Timeline, Books, and Policies

Obviously you put a lot of thought into this and I can feel your passion for DC comics...but this post is just further evidence that the fans really can't really be trusted, individually anyway, with business suggestions. Seriously, you had me at least a little interested till you got to the business-end of things.

All books are $1.99? Pure fantasy without a substantial pay-cut. Combine that with your recommended advertising expenditure and it's well, yeah, pure fantasy. And $2.99 Annuals? Come on now.

To be fair the whole thing is fantasy. Many of those creators will simply not work for DC -- either they're done with comics, or they're Marvel exclusive and happy to be there.

The business side is only slightly less realistic than the creative side of things (though I will say that, given that this is complete and utter balls to the wall what if, I'm confused by the inclusion of guys like JT Krul or Chuck Dixon).
