so what is the "gimmick" with the new premise? what's up with the floating droid?

I probably didn't enjoy it as much as some of the other posters in this thread. Don't get me wrong, it was a good book but I felt Waid's DD started a lot stronger. The book felt a little flat, seeing these characters sit there at a table talking for the majority of the issue wasn't really compelling from a visual or story telling standpoint. Banner came off kind off unnecessarily arrogant, which made Icemans comment to Kitty in ANXM #2 even more humorous. Thinking about Icemans comment made Banner seem juvenile to me, but it's possible he was just trying to oversell himself to SHIELD. Either way it was an ok book, I like what Waid put in place and I'm interested to see where this goes.
