The Superior Spider-Man is lucky Val Richards is away when he teams-up with the Future Foundation kids, or else she'd figure out who he is and find a fix.

Has anyone else noticed the the cover for Avenging Spider-Man #16 (featuring Superior Spider-Man) has Spidey with two toes?!?! Another odd clue about the identity of the new Spidey!

Well that bit's been apparent since the reveal of the new costume so it's nothing really new.
Holding out for a Peter/Miles team up.

Ack! You're right! The images I'd seen so far didn't show his feet (or I hadn't noticed them), but this image clearly shows it:

Disappointing he didn't include Gambit in the X-Men group. Though he only wrote him a few times, always enjoyed it!

It's not necessarily two toes; it may be tabi-style footwear.

Yeah, actually that's what it says in the second image I posted. My bad!

I love that Yost is getting a shot at Avenging Spider-Man, although depending on how Amazing Spider-Man #700 plays out he may not have much to work with. I'm also glad he's getting another shot at writing the X-men. He was really good with X-men First to Last a while back. I hope he gets another chance down the line, but for now he seems to have found a good role with the Spider-Man books and I'm content to see him make the most of that.

This interview also inherently implies that SSM won't be Ock in Peter's body. If he is interacting with all of these sets of people for the first time (at least as Spidey, whoever it may be) clearly Ock pretending to be Peter and no one being the wiser, at the very least, doesn't last.

So just going to go out and say that the first image which has a preview for Avenging Spider-Man in December I think that is a huge spoiler in itself. I could be wrong but if I'm not...just wow.

@bjtrdff: You should really put that in spoiler tags. But I agree. They way they've handled it so far it sounds like he is not spoilers:
    at least in appearance, Peter.
    end of spoilers

Yeah, seems like Docder-Man is telepathically sending the tentacles after Spock.
