Now this is a great issue that build the suspense, sets your tone and increases the stake ALL without much happening in the way of conflict.
It's essentially a bridging issue but it successfully lays out more about Vine society, what's been going on with the Plantings and how they need to come together to ward off the incoming invasion.

Still the best VALIANT book on the stands---even when not much happens!!!

I picked up the entire series on Black Friday. This has become one of my favorite series now! This latest issue was great. The thought of Ninjak and Manowar working together is just...drool-worthy.
Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.

Will Cary Nord come back to pencils ? I picked the book up in my pull list for his art only.

He's coming back with the Planet Death storyline, after this arc with Ninjak and Lee Garbett wraps and a two-issue prelude to Planet Death with art by Trevor Hairsine. Should all be awesome.
Looking for artists, know I won't find any. That blows.
