PREVIEW: Amazing Spider-Man #700

I get a feeling of foreboding of the impending horror that has been hyped up by Slott/Wacker from that preview.

I get that feeling by the fact that "Superior" Spider-Man has Doc Ock's tentacles behind him. 699 had a cover with Doc Ock's tentacles behind Spider-Man and we all know how that turned out.

I didn't realize his tentacles also doubled as flashlights.

hmm, is that Hope clinging to Peter's back? regardless, it's Peter and a redhead V spider-ock. That seem a fairly definitive, Peter comes back, teams up with someone (I think it's Hope Summers, but I suppose it could be someone else. it's not MJ, that much is certain.) and kicks Doctor Ock's ass. Then, either Peter becomes the Superior Spider-Man, or teaches the Superior Spider-Man.

I think it's fairly obvious that Parker makes a comeback in 700 and loses.
