Default Daredevil #20 *Spoilers and Review*

I have to admit, I was a bit surprised by the big reveal this issue. Brief spoilers since the issue's not right in front of me.

    spoilers:
Coyote reveals his operation to Daredevil, and what's behind that door is something I never expected to see in this book. Matt manages to turn the tables on Coyote. We also get a reveal that Coyote isn't the Spot? Intriguing.
    end of spoilers

Even in light of Marvel NOW, Daredevil continues to be one of the best books out of Marvel. It's just consistently solid even when it doesn't knock my socks off.
Currently reading She-Hulk, Deadpool, Swamp Thing, Ms. Marvel

Probation: Ghost Rider, Loki: LoA, Secret Avengers

Looking forward to All-New Ultimates, Flash Gordon and Doctor Mirage.

Absolutely amazing. What a crazy issue. Waid is doing a great job with giving us new insight every issue and then giving us new questions. You can never tell what's going to happen next with this book. Awesome stuff.

Pretty good stuff, Waid managed to pull a nice twist there, well done.
That's right! Al Gore invented the internet, let's all go kick his ass!

I got your inconvenient truth right here, motherf*&%!

Good issue. Man, that twist was disturbing. I'll give Waid credit for pulling it off and DD has another fanastic storyline.

Yeah, that was a legitimately disturbing and awesome scene. Consistently excellent book (stating the obvious here).

There were two disturbing pages for me here.

    spoilers:
The room full of heads and the twist with the Spot.
    end of spoilers

But all in all a great issue. Waid's killing it with this title!

Loved this issue, definitely did not see that twist coming. Waid is the sole reason I'm giving the indestructible hulk a chance. I usually don't care much for the hulk, but Waid is such a great writer I have to try it.

That first one is very freaky.

Liked this issue (and what Waid is doing with the book) but couldn't get past the comic book science on this one. A bunch of heads in a room on top of each other?

Incredibly, Waid's DD run only seems to get better every issue. This current storyline is just fantastic.

A bunch of heads in a room on top of each other?
It's just a crazy pit of misery and as surreal as it's supposed to be.

Every issue in this run in just THAT issue. I mean, we get all this crazy chilling twisty plot stuff, one of a kind superheroics, and hilarious scenes like

Assistant D.A. McDuffie: Daredevil is trouble you guys
Ernie Hudson: yeah that's why you don't date blind superheroes. GTFO

Didn't like the McDuffie scene. Came across like, "Women, am I right fellas!?"

But the twist reveal was incredible, the way it was paced and built up with the earlier panels...unreal. Awesome.

Once again Waid puts Daredevil in a unique position, this time actually making him blind, which is clever and at the same time fun to read.

Probably my favorite comic of the week.

The last panel reminds me of one of my first comics
