Could you explain the bit about Betsy's katanas?

At the end when EVA is flying away you see her looking down at Genosha and holding onto the katana she still has, then it cuts to inside the compound where the other one is lying on the ground, and then the compound blows up.

Yeah, I take that back. I mean the fuzzy-filtered "what coulda been" tactics he used so well in Dark Angel Saga. I enjoyed them this issue, but that was about all this issue had going for it.

Ha! I posted many times that Daken will bite the dust, and yup, I was right.
But actually, it was very easy to guess.

Pretty clever (but abrupt) ending to a saga. Evan didn't kill anyone, so he still have a chance.
Now I wonder, which Apocalypse will fight Uncanny Avengers?

Looking at it again I was completely wrong...the thing she's holding is the sheath. My bad.

I also kinda feel like Evan was pointless in this issue. Yeah when he freaked out the compound exploded a bit but he didn't really do anything else. He backhanded Mystique and punched Sabretooth. I thought the reason he put on the armor in the first place was to go rescue Logan from Daken...he was really just walking around smoldering.

So we never had a proper explanation of how dakken was alive to begin with. This is the second time he dies in less than two years, it already had loose its dramatic efect.

I read somewhere on Rick Remender's twitter that he didn't die the first around. Don't know how but he survived that first "death". Sorry I can't find that specific tweet at the moment.
