They did the same with Stuart Moore and his Namor the First Mutant. Waited till the book was canceled before doing an X-Position.

Glad some questions about Fearless Defenders made it in. It's unfortunate that most of the questions were about Wolverine, a title which he will no longer be writing, but that's the risk with these interviews. :)

I loved your Cap and Namor oneshot, of course, so it was cool to see the Covenant in Wolverine. Also enjoyed the Son of Satan Venom arc and seeing DoA from the excellent Fearless mini. Needless to say, I'm enjoying the continuity and horror universe you created. And am really psyched for FEARLESS DEFENDERS.

Also, I'm REALLY hoping for Loa in that book.

Oh, definitely :) I just meant the timing of it was unfortunate, since, at the time questions were solicited, nobody knew he was going to be off Wolverine. :)

How did you come to be inspired to write it? I know you said the idea occurred during the FI tie in, but what pushed you to really pitch it?
