He's one of my favorite writers. Does anybody know the reason for him not writing any other titles in addition to his amazing X-Factor series?

It's a question I ask myself many times. But beware, he has as many followers here, as opposers.
X-factor is the series David "feels" best, but I wouldn't mind him on Spider-Man book, or Hulk, or Dr Strange series.
Say No to decompressed storytelling!
He does a lot more than just comics. I'd say he's got his plate full.

If I had to guess, I'd say Marvel doesn't like PAD that much.
"That's a very nice school you have here, it'd be a shame if someone dropped some Sentinels on it"
Because he's smart, prefers to focus on one group of heroes and writing them with perfection or very close to it, is involved with other personal writing projects and does not feel the need to stretch himself thinly over three or four additional titles...I'm guessing.

Well, PAD doesn't like crossovers/events for sure, which makes him less attractive for Marvel.

David does a ton of novelizations of films. He also writes his won novels and has started his own comic magazine The Camelot Papers. He also writes video games. Here's a full list.
He's probably busy doing all the non-comic stuff he does. I'd love to see him do the X-Men. Put him on Uncanny instead of Bendis.
Are his novels good?
I'm interested in his Hulk. In particular are the adaptations worth reading, with David's typical humor and Easter eggs?
I think PAD's "Fallen Angel" comic with IDW is still alive, although mostly through mini's.
Not sure about the Hulk adaptations, but his "Star Trek" novels are great. Particularly the ones involving Q. "Q-in-Law" where Luxana Troi and Q date while the crew of the Enterprise look on in utter horror is hilarious.
As everyone's already mentioned, he has a lot of projects outside of comics, but if you're looking for more Marvel-related material by him, he's writing the upcoming Kitty Pryde and Iron Man team up in A+X #2, and adapted Joss Whedon's first arc of Astonishing X-Men "Gifted" as a novel. Kaiolino read it and liked it.
