Default Another teen team book is needed

Young Avengers and Avengers Arena are fine and all and not having read Young Avengers I could be jumping the gun here but I want a classic teen team book like the New Warriors, Slingers, New Mutants

there are so many underutilized teenage heroes Thunderstrike, Power-Man, Ultra Girl, Ricochet, Gravity, Cloud 9, Scarlet Spider I could go on and on.

With it being the era of Marvel Now.... Now would be the perfect time for a new teen book imo.... what's Brubaker up to these days I'm sure he could make it work lol

People shoulda bought other teen books, otherwise we wouldn't have Arena.

Also, they claim Wolverine and the X-Men is one, when it's more about the teachers.

I wouldn't have claim wolverine and the x-men to be one either...

They need a big name on it to launch it and make it work like A Brubaker or a Fraction.... sitting writing this Kelly Sue DeConnick came to mind would probably be perfect

Kieron Gillen says it is the Hogwarts book of the teen books, but I really don't agree with that. It just doesn't balance that much for me.

I'm not sure what else you need besides those two. One offers up teen drama, with a side of action. The other offers up action with a side of drama. WatXM has a few brilliant characters too. I prefer the cast there to Arena.

What isn't being addressed in those books that you'd want elsewhere?

    Actually, it's about the x-babies.

All New X Men is a teen book.

Avengers Arena is also well worth checking out.

Personally i want to see Generation X brought back with all the originals with a writer that could just have some fun with them, instead of try to kill them all off.

I'd like the New X-Men like Pixie, Surge, Martha, Hellion, Loa, Anole, etc. to be spread amongst A & B-list X-Men to receive development if we can't have them in a book of their own.

While I do think Young Avengers will be a fun teen book, and want nothing to do with either Avengers Arena or any book with Wolverine on the title, I truly do think there are way too many cool teen and young heroes left around the MU not to be used. Just take a peek at the later volumes of Avengers Academy of at the Youth in Revolt TPB. I, for one, would love to see them bring back Night Thrasher (the real one, not stupid Donyell) and have him put together a hard hitting new New Warriors team. There are so many choices.

    Peace

Might as well mention people like Spider-Man, Human Torch, and Black Cat while you're at it

He might be refering to the Initiative Scarlet Spider (the surviving clone of MVP, wearing a discarded version of Peter's Iron Spider suit), not the one with the current mag.
