I've already read the series, but this article should have included a spoiler alert for the comic, or just not said what happens to Tyreese in the end. The TV show may well go differently, but lots of folks who haven't yet read the comic might read this website. If they decide to read it, now they know not only what happens to this character, but what issue it happens in.

I was kinda split on this one. On one hand, Tyreese is a pretty cool character in the comics, and I'm interested to see how he'll play out on the TV show. On the other hand, though, I've always liked how the stark differences between the TV show and the books, (characters that live in one, die in the other, and characters that don't even exist in one, do in the other), makes the reading and the watching two completely unique experiences for me, if that makes any sense. Like two completely different, if somewhat similar, universe to enjoy.

If it's confirmed that he's coming, I'm interested to see what he'll bring to the show.

It's akin to announcing that Katniss kills President Snow in the article that says Donald Sutherland has joined the cast.
