Seems to support my theory that Savage Wolverine will be a mini, whether that was its original intention or not.

I don't mind as long as they are good. We deserve a wolverine that is as good as Snyders Batman but i'm guessing it wont happen.
The solo wolverine sells between 30 and 40k so i dont know how they justify 2 ongoings.
James? This makes me sick. Fire this guy!
You want I should bop you with this lollipop?
James Logan??? No James Howlett or Logan get it right or don't write the character, I might check this out, Wolvie has been trash over the last few years but you never know, giving this and Savage a chance
Superior
Jesus Marvel! Give us something new already. They really need to re evaluate the placement of their characters at this point, seeing the same people in countless books is really starting to get old and it's not just with Wolverine.
Cornell is totally wasted on a book like this. I would've killed for an Excalibur book, hell, go full circle and but him in a West Coast Avengers book. They got Avengers everything else, at least give us some characters that have been MIA for a little while not more of the same.
I love Wolverine, and Wolverine solo books can be awesome if done right (I'm looking at Larry Hamma and Adam Kubert about 18 or 19 years ago). But not only is Alan Davis a poor fit for the character, he's also one of my least favorite artists. I hate how he draws Wolverine's mask, everyone looks the same, and his old-school style looks awkward with modern digital coloring. As a huge Logan fan I'm very conflicted. I want to read his solo adventures, but Davis has been more than enough to keep me from reading a title in the past. Not sure which way I'll go. I'll need to see some pages and hear more about the story.
Not top ten numbers or anything, but Wolverine's been consistent for a while. His current solo is selling in the 40K range on average, topping the likes of Daredevil, Captain America and Incredible Hulk, and a lot of that probably has to do with WatXM's presence in the marketplace.
Depends on the writer. Aaron's run was great and Rucka had a solid run himself. Of course there's Hama too.
Such a waste. This would've been the perfect team for Kitty Pryde & Wolverine vol. 2.

I really hope this means Savage isn't a true ongoing. It's just too much.

Marvel: SSM, DD, Hawkguy, UXM, ANXM, XM, WatXM, Aveng, NA, UA
Are they already trying to screw over The Savage Wolverine? I honestly would have been with that book being the main Wolverine book, even though the premise was certainly one that wouldn't last.
