I knew this list to be crap as soon as I saw Wally West on it. I love Flash 3, he's the flash I grew up with, but the dude has been MIA for a year. Bogus, bogus, bogus.

There's a few characters in the top 20 like Storm and Nightcrawler who have been MIA so it seems to be picked by a few diehard fans. Most of us don't even appear to be aware of it's existence and it's not like most of us haven't been on Comicvine.

Batman deserved one apparently he has had some very good books this year, same with WW.

Nothing to lose sleep over by any means, but it is a little sad that Deadpool ranks so high during an era when the character is written at his absolute worst - and was seemingly underappreciated when Kelly was writing the character at his absolute best.

Sadly, my retailer actually confirms that Deadpool is a strong seller.
